The article is devoted to analysis of all changes, made to Siberian corps’ interior structure during 1755–1765, in relation to reforms of Russian army at this period. Using some archive materials, introduced to research for the first time, the author observes in detail the discussions, decisions made by the sovereign power, and its realization. Those decisions had referred to the personnel and deployment of regular army troops on Siberian territories. It’s been found out that Siberian corps’ military administrative system had formed during the first years of empress Yekaterina II’s reign. This system had matched the division-corps organization of Russian army, developed in the middle of 1760s. The question, concerning the split of powers between the commandants of border fortresses and regiments’ commanders, is also examined separately.
