Organizational vandalism as a marker of an incoherent economic security system: prevention approaches

The paper describes the methodology and research results of the mutual influence of the security system structure in the organization, personal financial competence of employees and organizational vandalism. As a result of work with employees and heads of organizations in various industries of the manufacturing and service sectors in Ekaterinburg (N = 96), a connection was found between coping strategies, financial literacy, and tolerance for organizational vandalism. Modern people in a digitalizing world expects quick positive results of his activities. However, nobody can behave completely rationally, therefore, his plans are not fulfilled, and his expectations are not realized. Dissatisfaction with expectations of incoherent reality leads to an increase in tolerance for organizational vandalism of employees of the organization, and can also lead to an increase in vandal activity due to general dissatisfaction with well-being and lack of awareness of the organization’s strategy.
