The article examines the current state of organized juvenile delinquency, the causes and factors contributing to the emergence and growth of the number of minors in organized criminal groups. In order to increase the effectiveness of the prevention of child crime and minimize its consequences, preventive measures are proposed. The reasons for the involvement of minors in criminal activity are considered. The reasons for the involvement of young people in the ranks of criminals according to the generic principle, that is, from parents to children, are considered. The measures taken to prevent juvenile delinquency are considered, the experience of foreign countries in the field of prevention of juvenile delinquency is briefly touched upon.
