Organized criminal groups as political subjects of complicity in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations

The author of this article addresses the issue of the spread of organized criminal groups as subjects of complicity in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations, considers their direct impact on the power structures of society, which negatively affects the provision of political security through the elimination of potential and real threats in the state. The article pays particular attention to the emergence of organizational criminal groups, their acquisition of signs of terrorist and extremist; it establishes the relationship with them of other organized structures acting as accomplices. In addition, the author gives recommendations on preventing the spread of these negative phenomena in Russian society: in his opinion, it is necessary to carry out regular inspections of Muslim organizations by government officials, since they are potentially a place for the spread of radical Islamic ideas associated with terrorist acts.
