Inquiry bodies in the system of the MIA of the Russian Federation

This article examines key issues related to the legal status and the procedure for procedural activities of bodies and departments of inquiry in criminal cases of various jurisdictions. The attention of readers is focused on the imperfection of the norms of the current Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, which, according to the author, need a serious update.
