Public authorities in the system of ensuring national security of the Russian Federation: Problems of functioning and interaction

In the context of modern challenges and threats the effectiveness of public authorities is becoming crucially important for the sustainable development of the state. In this article the author examines key issues related to the functioning and interaction of public authorities on ensuring national security; recommendations aimed at optimizing the work of government institutions and strengthening interdepartmental coordination are formulated.
