The VCHK (temporary extraordinary commission) authorities in the system of the soviet state enforcement apparatus: the concept, objectives and functions

The activity organizational and legal basis, the legal nature, the status of the extraordinary commissions for combating the counter-revolution in the public authority system of the RSFSR (Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) are researched in the article.
