“Olympic Games-80” organizing committee: reasons for success

The article reveals the aims, tasks, functions and rights of “Olympic Games-80” organizing committee established February, 20, 1975 in order to prepare and conduct the Olympic Games in Moscow. This committee was also to coordinate the activity of Ministries, Departments, Public and Sport organizations of the country, and to negotiate with the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
