Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the analysis of students’ core values in physical education and lasting preferences in vital activities. The most characteristic groups of students who have different attitudes toward physical activities were defined. A trend to reducing the number of undergraduates engaged in individual physical activities was revealed. The questionnaire survey data showed that the majority of graduates have not developed an active position towards physical activities and healthy lifestyle. Only 24% of graduates who were physically active in their student days continue practicing on their own to keep fit. To enhance motivation in physical activities the authors recommend to include weight exercises for male students, and aerobic dance exercises for female students.
