Non-destructive testing devices for the geometric characteristics of the surface of a part and its microrelief, used in industrial production, do not allow us to determine the numerical values of the parameters for constructing the topography of the microrelief. Therefore, among the parts having the same roughness, the topography of the microrelief of the surface can vary widely. During operation, this leads to a decrease in service life, rapid wear, changes in functional characteristics, and a decrease in the efficiency of components and assemblies that include this part as an integral element. The solution to the problem is to develop a new generation of non-destructive testing devices that allow for the metrological measurements necessary for the application of the modular-geometric approach in the structuring of the three-dimensional geometric model of the surface microrelief. This new generation of testing equipment is the Sofya Varvarchuk system. This system belongs to the category of holography testing systems. Many of its elements have an original design.
