A new type of black-motley breed in the Orel region: the methods of breeding and breeding prospects

The article presents data on the analysis of the heritability coefficients in herds of Black-motley cows in the Orel region. Studied the heritability of milk yield for 305 days, the fat content of milk, protein in milk, live weight. It was determined that the growth of the herds milk yield was 926 kg of milk in a single generation (n=1500), or 118,3% relative heterosis effect.
