Methods of teaching informatics in secondary educational school

In Uzbekistan, teaching and studying informatics in the general education system has more than twenty years of history. Starting from the theoretical subject of computer science, we now have a combination of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the study of many subjects with some basic elements of computer science. The article discusses the goals and approaches to the introduction of ICT in general education, discusses the competencies and values that need to be developed in the process of teaching and learning IT.
