It is proven that such conceptions as consumer value and consumer price used in the concept of building value do not comply with the basic conceptions of political economy and distort the meaning of a useful idea of interaction between a consumer and a producer while creating a new product. The methodology of this interaction is sufficiently well developed in Russian economics using the concept of limit price.
