Osh State Pedagogical Institute during the Great Patriotic War

The article discusses the activities of higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) on the example of the Osh State Pedagogical Institute. During the war, a number of educational institutions were evacuated to the republic. Among them are Rostov State University and the Pedagogical Institute, located in the building of the Osh State Pedagogical Institute, which made a significant contribution to the development of the education system of Kyrgyzstan in the preparation of highly educated specialists during the Great Patriotic War.
