Noise fields attenuation by slotted screens of limited length

The article considers the problem of choosing optimal parameters of slotted diffraction screens of limited length for maximum attenuation of noise fields. Its solution is obtained taking into account the directional properties of the emitters. The optimal screens parameters are found and high levels of field weakening are achieved, which is confirmed by model experiments.
