Understanding the problem of a teacher in the soviet pedagogy (1918-1929)

The 1920s entered the history of the development of national education and forming requirements for the personality of a teacher for the new socialist school as a contradict period of creativity and inquiry. At that time there were two vectors defining the updating of attention to the mission of a teacher, determining value priorities of his professional activity. On the one hand, humanistically oriented teachers continued to defend the anthropological concept of training and education. On the other hand, in the context of political systems of the ruling regime leaders and prominent official pedagogy carried out the Proletarian doctrine of the development of pedagogical reality, which resulted in the formation of the corresponding image of the Soviet teacher. Representations of the leaders of created system of education and pedagogy for the new socialist society are characterized by interlacing of extremely contradictory axioms. So, declaring the humanistic ideas of spiritual development, self-development and self-improvement of a man prominent pedagogues put forward and implemented policy guidelines on the formation of a “new man” appropriate to ideological postulates of arisen state-political system
