The article analyzed the conceptualization of health and disease within naive and scientific worldview. Within naive worldview axiological concepts such as happiness, wellbeing and power underlie health concepts. On the contrary, disease is associated with scourge, disaster and mischief in naive beliefs. Scientific worldview conceptualizes health as a condition free from diseases, whereas disease is regarded as a deviation from the normal (healthy) functions of the human body.
