In the article, assortment research is conducted in the conditions of import substitution (by the example of automobile trade of the company "Dyuk and K", Kemerovo). As a result of the assessment of the assortment policy of the enterprise, it was revealed that the main problem is the irrational structure of the assorted assortment in the conditions of import substitution.
