The main forms of patriotic education for youth taking up martial arts and law enforcement

The article comprises the main forms and means of cultivating patriotism in martial arts athletes. Educational events organized for sportsmen are held in conditions of learning trainings, competitions of various rates and during the time free from trainings and competitions. To identify forms and means of martial arts athletes’ patriotic education the authors developed questionnaires for revealing indicators of patriotic education during lessons, competitions and in free time. The authors present the analysis of the conducted research devoted to the forms and means of patriotic education employed by university coaches when training martial arts athletes. The most frequently used forms and means are revealed.
