Formation and development of psychiatric services in Trans-Baikal krai (to the 25th anniversary of the regional clinical psychiatric hospital named after V.Kh. Kandinsky)

Information on the history of formation and development of psychiatric services in Trans-Baikal Krai is presented. Emphasis is placed on information on the main therapeutic facility of the service in the region - Regional Clinical Psychiatric Hospital named after V.Kh. Kandinsky, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018. Recent reorganization activities allow us to set up proper conditions for the maintenance of patients, as well as to introduce new modern organizational forms with emphasis on prevention of mental disorders and to integrate patients into society.
