The article deals with the actual problems of modernization of Russian education and the main priority directions from the position of the state and society to create an adequate system of education, which has the ability to form an effective material and technical base of the educational process, the search for new approaches, methods and ways of development of market relations, stimulating the development of the economy of education and the Russian economy as a whole.
