The main directions of ensuring and protection of the constitutional rights of citizens in pre-trial criminal proceedings

The article is devoted to the main directions of ensuring and protection of the constitutional rights of citizens during the pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases. On the basis of analysis of legal literature and practice of law enforcement activity in Kazakhstan the authors came to the conclusion about the need and justification for the introduction of a new form of pre-trial proceedings - summary proceedings in criminal cases into the domestic criminal procedural legislation of Kazakhstan.
