The main directions of improvement of certification of municipal employees

The paper deals with the category of certification as one of the main organizational and legal forms of assessment of professional qualities of a municipal employee. The article presents the main normative legal acts that define and regulate the procedure of certification of municipal employees in the Russian Federation. The authors consider the main problems of certification procedures and give a number of recommendations for their elimination. As a result of the analysis the main directions of improvement of personnel policy regarding certification at the municipal level are defined.
