The main areas of judicial and legal policy of the Russian empire (in the period 1800-1825)

Purpose: To research the specific dynamic of development of judicial and legal policy of the Russian Empire in the first quarter of the 1800. Methodology: Historical and legal approaches, as well as the method of historical periodization were used in the article. Results: The author gives the periodization of development of judicial and legal policy of Russia of the first quarter of the 1800 on the example of reform of public administration. 4 periods are allocated and analyzed. The period of the beginning of this reform is the first one. This period is characterized by ministerial reform of Alexander I, started by «The Manifesto on the Establishment of the Ministries», as well as the activity of the first Minister of Justice of the Russian Empire G.R. Derzhavin and legal transformations related to him: the report «On the Procedures Applied in the Ruling Senate, Voting by Senators and on Their Consent» (1800 - 21.10.1802) and «The Circulatory Order» (1800 - 22.09.1802)...
