Research of pedagogical concepts is lead in the field of civil and military education. Process of origin, becoming and development of a phenomenon of military education in Russia during the various historical periods is investigated. The basic historical regularities between a condition of the state and formation at it need for the professional officer staff are revealed. The basic pedagogical concepts of military education, opinion on the given question of known domestic and foreign teachers, philosophers and public figures are considered. The basic forms of existence of the education, caused are revealed and shown by the concrete historical period.
