The main approaches to the study of modern US foreign policy priorities in the Republic of Kazakhstan

This article examines the approaches of researchers from Russia, the United States and Kazakhstan to studying the goals of U.S. foreign policy in Central Asia since the regional states gained independence. Special attention was paid to the current priorities of the United States in the region. The conclusion is substantiated that most researchers highlight among the main priorities of the United States in Central Asia the opposition to Russia and China, the development of energy and economic cooperation, the maintenance of security, as well as the democratization of the countries of the region.
