The article describes the brief essence of the main approaches to modeling business processes of the company. The main activities in the framework of reengineering are the selection of business processes, their description and analysis with a view to further transformation, this is precisely the relevance of the chosen topic. The conclusion of the research work is that, before any description of the business process, its analysis and optimization conditions begins, there is a need to first form a specific goal. The methods of the study include the method of system analysis of theoretical and practical material, general scientific methods and techniques (synthesis, comparison, synthesis).
