The authors studied the decisions of the investigators and the materials of the department of complex examinations of the KGBUZ of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination for 2016-2020 in criminal cases in terms of evaluating the questions asked by the investigators when appointing the commission of the CME. Often, the investigators appoint a commission of the CME on issues that are not within the competence of the forensic medical expert, and the expert institution as a whole. Thus, issues of the quality of medical care are the competence of the administration of the health care facility, the TFOMS, and Roszdravnadzor. The problems of the formulation of questions on the commission SME are considered and the ways of solving these problems are proposed.
