This article discusses the issues of remuneration and incentives for teaching staff. For many years, the issue of paying and stimulating the work of teaching staff has remained particularly relevant. The introduction of effective contracts is not a sufficient incentive to work, since teachers ' salaries remain extremely low. Without real state funding of the process of raising the salaries of teaching staff, it seems impossible to achieve the goals set to provide the economy with highly qualified workers.
