Main problems in the construction industry affecting the economic development of Russia and the ways of their solution

The construction economy is a key part of the economy, which is a very important indicator of the stability of a country. In obtaining a high-quality end result in the activities of enterprises in the construction industry, economic, technical and technological ties play an important role. In Russia, there are both internal and external factors that hinder the development of the construction sector, limiting its progress. Based on this, today it is very important to study the patterns and state of the construction industry. Moreover, for several years there has been an acute question about the reasons for the slowdown in the growth rate of construction. The article analyzes the state of the construction industry in Russia from 2008 to 2020. Such data as the dynamics of the volume of construction work, including construction objects for various purposes, the structure of production costs, the dynamics of the movement of the housing stock, have been studied. The reasons that complicate the work of Russian construction structures are revealed, as well as economic and construction prospects for development are proposed.
