The article examines the existing trends in project management methods that are characteristic of the current stage of development of economic relations associated with digital transformation. Based on the analysis, the structure of the stages of the evolution of project management was formed, the existing main trends in the development of project practices were identified, as well as directions for further research in this field of knowledge.
