Main trends in the development of private schools in Russia at the current stage

According to the basic economic laws, competition is an incentive for the development of the industry, the search for valuable advantages of each market participant, a benefit for the consumer who has the opportunity to choose a service or product. The education sector is also among the industries that need to form a competitive environment as a basis for further improvement, which means that private schools in Russia are and will remain a relevant alternative to public education. Within the framework of this article, an analysis of the state of non-state school education in the country was conducted, the main focus of which was on the study of the dynamics of its development indicators and the results of surveys of Russians on this topic. The final product of the article was a generalization of the main (positive and negative) trends in the development of private schools in the Russian Federation with appropriate justification.
