Fundamental factors of creating "an accessible environment" and the social policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding citizens with disabilities

This article examines the problem of adaptation of the city and region to the needs of people with disabilities and the need to remove barriers to ensure a safe environment for their life. An accessible environment promotes independent lifestyles for people with limited mobility. The social policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in relation to people with disabilities is analyzed.
