The article talks about the construction of psychological training for basketball players of the student team. A theoretical and methodological model is proposed to ensure the psychological training of basketball players of the student team for successful performance in competitions. To determine the psychological characteristics of competitive activity in the student team of OrelGY, the level of preparedness of players according to technical and tactical indicators and the level of psychological preparedness were tested for several months.
