Basis for the organization of social support of orphans and children without parental support

The article describes the social and legal security of orphans and children left without parental care in Russia. The main legislative acts and normative legal documents regulating the issues of support for this category of children are considered. The number of orphans is given, the problem of provision of housing is analyzed.
