Risk management in trade organizations working in a system of continuously rivalry can be considered along with the issue of strategic development of a company and the influence of risk occurrence for the long-term period company`s development. Change of market environment, it`s dynamic and basic trends are the important aspects for the inclusion into the management system of a commercial organization. Basics of change management in commercial organizations in terms of market competition includes both understanding of “risk” notion and its differentiation on the change management approaches. In the article there are given descriptions for to approaches to the risk`s identification (risk is a probability of risk occurring or risk is a probability of benefit receiving), integration of which there comes the third one - some interdependency of the risk level with the ability to receive profit. On the example of commercial organizations working on the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, there are several cases given concerning the preventive approach to the risk management in companies, also concerning the unexpected risk occurring in the external environment of the organization.
