Syntax of the scientific literature (on the example of pharmaceutical texts translation)

This article deals with the problem of the syntactic scheme of pharmaceutical scientific texts. The emphasis is made on the structural complexity of the syntax of scientific and technical texts. The generalized-abstract nature of scientific speech, which determines the use of certain types of syntactic constructions, is discussed.
