Questions of adaptation of young employees to service in law enforcement agencies

The author analyzes existing definitions of adaptation and identifies types, functions and stages of the latter. Factors are also looked into that determine the progress of adaptation in a fresh recruit struggling to adapt to service with a body or unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
