Throughout all activities, the customs authorities are faced with the problem of adaptation of personnel. The employee who has recently come to work is included in the system of organizational requirements, taking a certain position in it. Each post corresponds to a set of job requirements, norms, rules of conduct. The employee is expected to comply with this attitude. The article discusses the features of the adaptation of personnel in Kaluga customs. Much attention is paid to the work of mentors and educational work conducted by the personnel service of the customs authorities.
