Features affixal word-formation of German language on the material of newspaper texts

The article deals with the peculiarities of affixal word-formation models of such German parts of speech as noun, adjective and verb. Affixation is one of the most productive ways of enriching German vocabulary. However, the productivity of affixation varies for different lexico-grammatical classes of words. The role of affixation in the formation of words of different parts of speech is evaluated on the example of newspaper texts.
