Features of academic motivation of students with internet addiction

Internet addiction is one of the most common problems of modern youth, which hampers the fruitful inclusion of students in educational activities, the process of socialization. The paper proposes the consideration of the features of academic motivation in Internet-dependent and Internet-independent students. It is shown that Internet-dependent students are motivated to study at the university largely by external causes (guilt, obligation) of learning activity, while Internet-independent students realize the motives for cognition, achievement and self-development in the process of teaching.
