The article discusses various approaches to revealing the essence of the concepts of intensification, performance, activity and learning and cognitive activity. It also presents the adapted techniques of the theory of inventive problem solving, giving a real opportunity to control the process of thinking and promoting the development of a cognition interest of elementary schoolchildren. Besides, the article analyzes the potential of the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving for the intensification of the learning and cognitive activity of elementary schoolchildren.
