Features of active learning methods

The article analyzes the formation and characteristics of active teaching methods. Particular attention is paid to improving and enhancing the educational process in higher education. The author takes into account that active teaching methods encourage students to actively think and practice in the process of mastering educational material. It is supposed to use such a system of methods, which is mainly aimed not at the teacher's presentation of ready-made knowledge, their memorization and reproduction, but at students' independent mastery of knowledge and skills in the process of active thought and practical activity.
