Features of antibiotic therapy in determining the microflora of nasal cavity, the oropharynx and the middle ear cavity during exacerbation of chronic foci of infection, complications of anterior uveitis

The features of microflora of nasal cavity, oropharynx and middle ear cavity during exacerbation of chronic foci of infection in the complication of their front uveitis were determined, and the related possibilities of antibiotic therapy were explored. 30 patients aged from 23 to 59 years (13 women, 17 men) were examined. Material for the study was smears taken with sterile swabs from the nose, oropharynx, and ear mejrecidivee period. The sowing of the investigated material and the sensitivity produced by the method of diffusion in agar (plain and blood agar, sugar broth, milk agar), method of disks and method of boundary concentrations. The sensitivity of selected pathogenic gram-positive cocci was determined to 25 antibiotics: penicillin, carbenicillin, Cefazolin, oxacillin, imipenem etc. A full ophthalmologic examination revealed that еhe most often met the following bacteriological infections: exacerbation of chronic otitis media in 46,67% (14 patients), of 73.33% (22 patients) acute maxillary sinusitis...
