Features of the arctic zone of the Russian Federation that risk to the oil and gas industry in the region

The author considers the features of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation which should be taken into account while developing, producing and transporting oil and gas in the region. The article presents the scale of hydrocarbon production of PJSC Gazprom on the Yamal Peninsula. The author considers different points of view on the definition of environmental risks.
