The paper presents the main results of the study of asthenic states of patients with ischemic heart disease during rehabilitation after coronary bypass surgery. 38 patients undergoing treatment at the department of rehabilitation, of the V.A. Almazov Federal Center of heart, blood and endocrinology were examined. The study was conducted in two stages: the first one in a week after the operation, the second stage before the discharge, which means 14-16 days after the surgery. The following characteristics were measured: severity of asthenic states, exhaustion of attention, structure of personal and situational anxiety, mood characteristics, structure of the individual senses, level of severity of alexithymia, personality structure, structure of relation to disease. Results. The severity of the physiological, emotional, and psychomotor manifestations of asthenia was significantly reduced during rehabilitation. Asthenic manifestations the more expressive, the higher the level of situational and personal anxiety and the lower emotional stability, personal resources, and satisfaction with life. The dynamics of various components of asthenic conditions (indicating the effectiveness of rehabilitation actions) correlates with the majority of the experimental-psychological characteristics under study. This opens the way to improving the quality of rehabilitation and, consequently, to reducing the severity of asthenic manifestations.
