Characteristics of broncho-obstructive syndrome in children under 5 years old after COVID-19

This article examines current data on broncho-obstructive syndrome in children under 5 years of age who have recovered from the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Pathogenesis mechanisms, clinical manifestations, diagnostic features, and management of this patient population are discussed. The article highlights the diagnostic challenges in young children and the need for an interdisciplinary approach to treatment and monitoring. An analysis of current publications and areas for further research is presented.
