Peculiarities of law enforcement officers’ goal setting, self-motivation and procrastination

The article stresses that an important factor which negatively influences reaching the goal is the phenomenon of procrastination implying postponement of the arranged and necessary acts for an indefinite period of time. The author proves that the concepts of goal and self-motivation for interviewed officers from investigation and interrogation departments are rather incomprehensible. The methods of self-motivation for reaching various goals are demonstrated.
