Features of value-semantic self-determination of the personality in adolescence (student) age

The article actualizes the issue of value-semantic self-determination of adolescence (student) age and, in this regard, emphasizes the scientific and pedagogical need for assessment and empirical understanding of students’ self-determination at all stages of higher education. The authors give a quantitative and qualitative assessment of such indicators as value-semantic dominants and individual content of value-semantic constructs. Summarizing the research results, the authors conclude that in the perception of respondents the most realized value was the value of «Life», which reflects one of the main tasks of the studied age - the realization of one>s own potential and self-determination as an individual and professional.
