Peculiarities of cerebral hemodynamics in the 2nd type diabetes mellitus patients having diabetic autonomous neuropathy of cardiovascular form

Peculiarities of cerebral circulation hemodynamics were assessed with noninvasive ultrasound method and dopplerography in patients having type 2 diabetes mellitus with cardiovascular form of diabetic autonomic neuropathy. The study results revealed increased peripheral resistance of cerebral vessels and attenuated compensatory reactions of cerebral vessels in such patients which may lead to decreased perfusion of the brain.
